Learn how to keep your teeth staying nice and white.

When it comes to oral health, many people want shiny, white teeth that they can show off whenever they want.  However, having white teeth is easier said than done. You need to practice proper dental hygiene and watch what you eat on a daily basis.  No one wants to walk around with dull, yellow teeth!  Luckily, there are few simple ways you can whiten your teeth and have an amazing smile.

Remember Your Tongue

It might seem like an odd way to whiten your teeth, but it is essential that you brush your tongue.  Bacteria tends to build-up on the tongue which can lead to teeth discoloration. Make sure that you rush your tongue gently and thoroughly while brushing your teeth.  You want to start from the back of your tongue brushing up to the front.

Change Your Toothbrush

A reason why you might not have the whitest teeth is due to the brush you are using.  You want to make sure that you are changing out your toothbrush about every three months or so.  Once you notice that the bristles on your are worn or bent, it is time to invest in a new toothbrush.  Make sure that you are brushing gently to avoid damaging your toothbrush.

Apple Cider Vinegar

If you want a natural method to whiten your teeth, you should look into using apple cider vinegar.  Make sure that you are not using it every day because it is acidic, so it can damage your enamel if used too often.  It is best if you use apple cider vinegar as mouthwash after you brush your teeth. You should make a mixture of two parts water to one part vinegar, and swish for around one minute.  Make sure that you rinse with water after swishing the solution.
