I am Jen, your Invisalign coordinator at Catonsville Dental Care. I have been in dentistry for more than 20 years and love being able to support patients through this process and see the amazing results we can get together.
During your initial consultation we will do several things including chat about your alignment goals, take a 3D scan and photos, and the dentist will do an exam to determine the health of your teeth. The best part is the 3D simulation of what your new smile will look like at the end. Finally, I will make sure that you get the lowest possible cost we can offer while our financial team will help navigate your insurance contributions or other payment options available.
Once you have decided to move forward with treatment, I will send all the scans and photos to our Invisalign lab and the dentist will communicate what your personalized treatment will be. We will receive your aligners within 3 weeks, at which point, we will call to set-up an hour long appointment to get you started on your Invisalign journey.
On your first day, we will review your plan, discuss the three phases of treatment, place any attachments required and practice placing and removing your aligners. We will create excellent home hygiene practices, get your next appointments planned, and probably have some giggles along the way. I will set you up for success by giving you all the information and tools necessary to achieve your goals.
When your smile is everything you wanted it to be, I will give you whitening material and scan you for final retainers. That is a great day! We can look back on where you started and compare how far things have come in such a short time.
